| Meeting the educational needs of low-achieving children in our Nation's highest-poverty schools, limited English proficient children, migratory children, children with disabilities, Indian children, neglected or delinquent children, and young children in need of reading assistance; | The exemplar lesson plan can be integrated in different classes, depending on the teachers approach. The content is printable, for students to complete assignments, but the teacher still conducts the class, and will explain the different areas of the lesson plan according to the background of their students. The subjects covered in the lesson plans cover news worthy subjects and will touch every students and stimulate discussion, which is an appropriate climate for discovering the world. |
| Closing the achievement gap between high- and low-performing children, especially the achievement gaps between minority and non-minority students, and between disadvantaged children and their more advantaged peers; | Each lesson plan is neutral, allowing students to create their own opinions.
